Using motor with a brake and use planetary gearbox was my second
option. I dropped it as unviable, because:
1) max torque should be limited at what is max torque for gearbox -
not to damage it
2) since I need low rotation speed of platform - around 10 RPM, there
is ~4:1 reduction with chain, so gearbox output shaft would be doing
approximately 40 RPM
3) with 6 pole motor (~900 RPM), reduction ratio for gearbox should be
around 22:1
4) with 100 Nm limit on output and 22:1 ratio, the brake should have a
holding torque of 4-5 Nm

AFAIK those brakes are much stronger, so any additional load on output
shaft would break the gearbox instead of turning the motor.
I guess I can ask the suppliers, if there are some options of weaker
brake that would prevent breaking the gearbox in case of overload.
