3.3K would give 1mA thru the switch. 330 ohms would give 10mA thru the switch. I'm not sure what input current (if any) the 7i73 requires. Unless PCW says otherwise I'd probably use 1K.
Regarding the power rating, 1/4 watt will be plenty. Overall, it's pretty non-critical. I'd probably scrounge around my basement and find something usable, but you might not have electronic junk in your basement.
