Greetings;

The new iso is installed and so is master-rt.

But several questions because it still doesn't want to run.

On trying to run it, I get an upchuck and quit the first time because a
DEFAULT something or other is missing. However on the lathe, that was a
first time attempt, and its been running fine since.

But now on the 2nd attempt it also fails because the
new /usr/realtime*/modules tree does not contain a loadable
probe_parport to satisfy the first line of the .hal file.

I commented that line out since there is also a hal_parport.ko.

But now:

LinuxCNC terminated with an error. You can find more information in the
log:

and
    /home/gene/linuxcnc_print.txt
as well as in the output of the shell command 'dmesg' and in the terminal
=============
This I suspect is the fault of the additional stuff in the configs
because I have a camera, and some extra py & glade stuff.

However, if the above rings any bells as to a missing install dependency,
I could use a prompting.

Thanks all.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
