I was hoping for something in the .030" wall thickness, where one layer, slit up the side so it can also compress without butting edges, would about do it since I need an almost even 60 thou of padding, froom .375, down to .315. But this sounds like I may as well machine them. Sigh....
The other one for the z axis, thats 1/2" now, can be bored to 14mm pretty easily, maybe without finding the binding screw, but if I take it out, and do find the hole, well, the motor shaft has 2 "D" flats on it at 90 degree angles that the screw could pass them by & even use it for slippage control until I notice it & snug it up another 1/4 turn. So that one I am not worried about too much. I'm a great believer in red thread locker too. > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >-------- _______________________________________________ > Emc-users mailing list > Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
