Greetings, I hope Peter is about;

I have smashed up the brass plate I use for tool length sensing, twice
today, because the 5i25.0.gpio.003_in is not seeing a probe contact.

Worse yet, it seems to be intermittent, working well after the first such
incident. Changed tools, and went to calibrate the TLO for these new
Chinese TTS tool holders, and smashed it again while descending
at .7"/minute.

Checking with a DVM, the probe line has about 3.3 volts on it, and it
goes to zero on the DVM when even a gentle contact is made, but its not
stopping the machine, and a halmeter is registering FALSE full time.

Checking the status in showconfig, it (gpio.003) is an input. And I do
not believe I have a separate pullup on the line, that card is AFAIK,
doing that 3.3 volts. Any pullups I would have installed would have
been to the 5 volt rail.

I haven't rebooted the machine yet but will before I head out to go have
a chat with my sawbones here in about an hour.

In the meantime, if you've any suggestions, I am all eyeballs to read
them when I get back. :)

Cheers, Gene Heskett
