Ha Ha! I see now that my question was not very clear. I am looking for anyone that has converted a machine made by the company 'Legacy Woodworking'
I have the following used machine: http://www.legacycncwoodworking.com/arty-personal-cnc/ It uses mach3 and the smoothStepper board I am having some issues that seem to be related to using the touchplate / tool changes / etc I think it is mach 3 configuration problem. I have used linuxCNC on another machine and like it better. :) So, this machine has the smoothStepper board Keling drivers (KL-4030) [ it does have KL-8078 on the X axis because there are 2 steppers.] So my question is: What breakout board would be needed to run 4 axis - using ethernet? or Parallel? What else would be needed to set the machine up to use the lathe/touchpad/etc. Thanks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Site24x7 APM Insight: Get Deep Visibility into Application Performance APM + Mobile APM + RUM: Monitor 3 App instances at just $35/Month Monitor end-to-end web transactions and take corrective actions now Troubleshoot faster and improve end-user experience.
