Back on the thread topic, I never did find the 6mm out of a set of 3/8 
drive Allens, and in looking over my torque wrench selections, found I 
did not have one that made the 20 lb/ft Andy recommended easy to do, so 
off to Advance Auto, where I found a single 6mm for about 6 bucks, and 
they had a markdown on their breakover torque wrench's so I bought the 
small one for another twenty dollar bill.  Brought it home, washed the 
bolts and the boltholes clean with some sort of electronics solvent, 
reinstalled the bolts dry.  Pulled them down to what I thought was tight 
using the 6+ inch long leg of a 6mm std Allen wrench for a handle.  And 
I put what I thought was 1/4 turn from broke on those bolts, bearing 
down on the wrench hard.  Put the torque wrench into the bolt and must 
have taken each bolt at least another half turn by the time that wrench 
broke at 240 in/lbs=20 ft/lbs.  An eye opener for sure. I never did have 
it tight IOW.

Message to Gene: When you think you have it tight, check it again WITH 
the torque wrench.  Anyway, its back together, and the backlash has been 
reset to about .00145".

Off topic again, limit switches. I cannot use the home switches as limits 
too, when the home setup is shared. I can't even home it.

I read someplace where there is an ignore limits when homing command, but 
wasn't able to find it quickly in the docs.pdf and I wanted it back 
together while my back could put it back together. I had a 3 sheeve deer 
hoist hanging on a skyhook above the mill & holding the head, so that 
turned out to be a lot quicker done than the last time when I was the 
both horse and wrench puller.
