This one does seem to stick pretty good if its slammed home with a crescent wrench on a jaw, but I've no clue what cutting an internal thread by reversing both the tool and the spindle might do. So I'll cut all my internal threads with the spindle turning normally. I've had some taps hang pretty tight doing a g33.1 on the G0704. Which makes me worry as its reversal is about 300ms in low gear at 300 revs. Reversal is just a click and the tap is backing out. Thats maybe 4 lbs of rotating mass, but this is about 50 lbs to reverse. I sure don't want it flying off. I already have one toe thats noticeably thinner than the other. :( Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
