So it looks like perhaps only the 7.5kW model is the new GT series. I don't need anything near that big so if I go with the Huanyang I would be getting the model that uses the existing driver.
Looking at the driver docs and code, it looks like there is no way to request the motor load. However since the driver has HAL pins to report most of the parameters would it be possible to calculate the spindle load?
