Ah, I see, that makes sense.

There is currently no HAL pin that does what you want, and no mechanism 
to trigger it.  I'd probably use PyVCP or GladeVCP to add a button to 
your GUI, and use the bit output pin from that button to trigger the 
relay that overrides your hard limits.
