I should add, I am using Xubuntu 12.04.
Does rtai need to be installed separately to use these modules? I believe apt-key ran properly and the linuxcnc repositories were added properly. There were no errors with apt-get update. I am getting errors of the form: The following packages have unmet dependencies: Linuxcnc: Depends: linux-image-3.4-9-rtai-686-pae but it is not installable. Depends: rtai-modules-3.4-9-rtai-686-pae but it is not installable ... Thanks Developer (master) version does exactly what you need. It also has sync homing. See http://linuxcnc.org/docs/devel/html/config/ini-homing.html#_home_sequence You can install master branch from buildbot http://buildbot.linuxcnc.org/ Then try sim/axis/gantry config ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, SlashDot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, SlashDot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
