Anyone have any ideas how to help this guy? He is trying to set up a software stepgen to control a spindle that was once controlled by a Mach3 config. It is sort of working, but the stepgen in Linuxcnc is not creating a steady pulse stream. It is sending out clumps of pulses at a steady interval rather than a smooth constand stream. (kind of like a badly tuned PID loop) But this has no loop, just a constant velocity command. https://forum.linuxcnc.org/16-stepconf-wizard/32653-mach3-xml-and-stepconfig-issues?start=50#91963 I've been trying to help him, but I am kind of at a loss for what could be the real source of this problem.
