Greetings;

Ack the man page for hm2_spi, this driver was also written for the 7i90,
but its default clock is 24 megahertz.

Switching nothing else in the config, I changed the driver to hm2_spi and
attempted to invoke linuxcnc -l, and got this error:

hm2: loading Mesa HostMot2 driver version 0.15
probe 24000000
hm2_spi: rtapi_app_main: No such file or directory (-2)
./hm2-7i90-stepper.hal:32: waitpid failed /usr/bin/rtapi_app hm2_spi
./hm2-7i90-stepper.hal:32: /usr/bin/rtapi_app exited without becoming
ready
./hm2-7i90-stepper.hal:32: insmod for hm2_spi failed, returned -1
Shutting down and cleaning up LinuxCNC...

Is there something else I need to add in the config="argument string".

Or is this driver simply not a compatible driver for use on a pi 3b?

Thanks.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
