I've build RTAI 5.0 for Linux 4.1. Debs here: deb http://highlab.com/~seb/rtai/5.0-debs/ jessie main deb-src http://highlab.com/~seb/rtai/5.0-debs/ jessie main These debs work with linuxcnc, but there's a race condition on module unload and sometimes it hangs when quitting linuxcnc. I've reproduced the problem using the RTAI test suite (ie, without any linuxcnc code) and I've submitted a bug report to rtai.org, but so far no one has found the bug. Until that bug is fixed we can not ship this kernel, or a linuxcnc version based on it, to our users. If you want to try it, you'll have to build linuxcnc from source yourself. Both 2.7 and master (2.8-pre) should work. -- Sebastian Kuzminsky ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
