Thanks for reporting this problem.
We've removed the dependency on python-gst and gstreamer for 2.7 and
master (2.8~pre) on Stretch for now, possibly breaking some parts of the
gmoccapy and gscreen guis (on Stretch only) until they get the attention
they need from their maintainers.
We've also added hostmot2 firmware debs for Stretch.
