He seems to have the same idea as me, citation below: "Remote connections are especially useful in setups where EMCSERVER and the core LinuxCNC modules (i.e. TASK, and the hard realtime motion control and I/O modules) execute on an embedded device, while a high-level and graphics intensive user interface (such as bin/axis) runs on a separate PC workstation."
