I'd have to come to that conclusion too, but most of the 8" for bench 
grinders either supply the correct hub, or will sell you the bushing 
cheap.

1 review writer said to have been using the very thin coated 
electroplated version, for about 5 years in his shop, notes that it 
takes about a months use to "activate" it and that he had never had a 
good excuse to dress it.  Said he did clean the tool before he headed to 
the grinder to sharpen it, recommended by the wheel supplier I guess.

I'll have to make an arbor, and will report on this one when I've had a 
chance to use it.
