Grrrrr. Each adaptor comes with a 1-13mm collet kit, and I needed both. No clue where they rolled off to, but my 4-5-6 collets can't be found in that midden heap.
But when it warms up again, if it ever does, I'm side-tracked making a KREG style drill to counterbore some treated 4x4"'s, need to plant 3 of them about 2' tall, drop a post case and top over it, after toe screwing it to the decking & mount some of that fat plastic railing on it for a safety rail of sorts to prevent a runaway wheelchair from rolling over the edge of the decking and onto the ramp, which would probably spill my lady and break more of her paper mache bones. The washer heads of the screws are around 5/8" in diameter, and need to be sunk into the wood, kreg screw style, far enough to let the post sleeve pass. The post covers I don't figure need to be a full 52" tall, so 2 foot of treated 4x4 in the bottom should be sufficient to stand them up straight and fairly solidly. These screws, toe screwed into the 2x4 flooring are all the holddown they'll get. > > -- > > Cheers, Gene Heskett > > -- > > "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: > > soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
