Greetings all; I am under the impression that the xml file rendering for pyvcp is actually done by tkinter. Is this correct?
In which case we might be able to add a "pin" to a "text" box to direct a bgcolor change for use as a status indicator. Or maybe even 2 pins with the second controlling fgcolor? This would encourage the use of bold fonts just to make the color more obvious for aging eyeballs. And since the height of a text box seems related to the fonts height, can we get rid of a line of background buffer above and below the space actually occupied by the font? IMO its wasted space that could be used for other things. And it would save me nominally 50% of the vertical space now occupied by pyvcp stuff on the sheldon's axis display, making room for other things not yet considered, like a slightly bigger tach dial. In fact it would be helpfull on all my machines. Am I correct that this will take editing the tkinter sources for this stuff?
