Almost all of this Windows BS goes away if you run Windows in a VM. The easy and secure way to run Windows is to first install Linux (or use Mac OS if on a Mac) and then a VM and then Windows. Then it does not need video or wifi drivers and you can snapshot the new Windows 10 install and later if/when the system is messed up. click reset and get back to the last snapshot. You user data is likely on a file server so the reset will correct any issues nearly instantly
