That _is_ the issue. Ir you have a real scope, take a look at the cable
from the encoder.. If you still see that, the encoder is the problem.
Conversely if that looks good, the port is mussing pulses

clearly, the displayed results at 2500 RPM
show a major problem. Since it clearly shows less pulses on
B than on A, however, it may really
be an optoisolator problem or something of that nature.
