I edited this into the .ini this morning, but am beginning to think I have a flaky bob or an iffy drive cable on the 5i25's p2. gpio.028 refused to sink the mtr-hard signal about the first 4 or 5 times I tried it this morning, after verifying that it all worked ok w/o the volatile home yesterday. Then it started working and has worked about 20 power cycles since. 'twouldn't be the first time an IDC cable was iffy in the middle span of a connector. I hate trying to solder that stuff, but dammit the IDC is NOT a 100% always dependable cabling method. Genuine Belden ribbon cable but in this 100' roll, I have already had to replace one 4' section that had no copper in one conductor someplace in the middle of that 4 feet. How the hell Belden accomplished that without an external mark of any kind on the cable is beyond explaining. But they did it... Do they even make a gold flashed version of these IDC connectors? That might help. Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
