Greetings all; Fresh install of the just downloaded 2.8-iso on TLM. No ssh, and systemctl says the service does not exist.
Whats the approved fix? The Graphical install also fails, can't find a network device. Regular install flies right on by it, and bringing the hosts file uptodate makes everthing work. ?? Mobo is an intel D-525-MW, and I believe the net chip is an r8169. Amanda-client and amanda-common are now installed, but amrecover to get my /home/gene/linuxcnc tree back fails, can't find ambind, whatever that is. I think its optional if configured correctly, and that question has been asked on their list. But the lack of ssh usability is running my ancient legs up and down the hill to the shop building TLM is in. Help would be appreciated by a systemctl new bee. FWIW, an ssh -Y coyote (there to this machine) works as expected. But from here to there, port 22 is closed. Thanks all.
