Field voltage is 12 volts. From a teeny external 15 watt supply. That fixed that. Now I need to make 5i25.0.pwmgen.1 into a type 2. And start machining mounts and couplings for the BS-1 spindle motor. Gonna be fun. I am contemplating a timeing belt drive, to get a bit more gearing, and to center up the motor a bit on the side of the BS-1, and get it a good inch closer to the BS-1. Otherwise the motor is going to hang out around 5.5". And thats too much leverage. Thanks Peter.
