Greetings all;

But its broken. Badly

1;It now acts as if it does not start anything in the way of services
until a human has physically logged into it from its own keyboard and
screen. I can't even ping it till I have logged in and restarted
networking.

2. ip -a only gets you the help screen, as user 1000 or as root, but I
just checked and this stretch's ip is also broken in the same manner.
So is the raspian version on the pi.

3. ssh as a service is not started even if I've logged in from its own
keyboard, until I have restarted /etc/init.d/ssh from that keyboard.

So it looks like ip is broken system wide. And not starting any services
until somebody is logged on locally is a show stopper here.

And the latency-test results are pretty bad, nearly 60 microseconds for
the servo thread.

So, what is the fix?

And my dell's have arrived. And I can't find a keyboard to match a
dongle, so for the 2nd one, I'm gonna have to go get a keyboard kit.
The first one I just put the drive from the ark box in, booted right up
but I'll have to re-arrange the shelf, it is a whole lot bigger than the
ARK shoebox.

Thanks guys.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
