Greetings all;

Progress report:

I adjusted the printers scales about .15%, getting a closer to perfect
circle sprocket while I'm at it, then found the x belt wasn't as highly
tensioned as the y, so I tightened that some too, so we'll measure the
next one before removing it from the glass to make sure I didn't screw
it up.

But I'm getting slow in my dotage, sitting there staring at the alu OEM
sprocket with has a machined into the 25mm bore, 5mm key to fit a slot
in the shaft, trying to figure out how to cheat and duplicate that
machined in key in PETG. Then it finally dawned on me that I could
expand the shaft hole to about 41.8mm, and drive the new sprocket onto
the old one, perhaps with some superglue to lock it. So I've done that,
but I might as well let this test make finish and measure it first. And
when I let it do it lights out, I wind up with several gobs of plastic
on the glass when its done, and I finally found where its coming from,
its catching the infill and tearing it out when useing a 20% crosshatch.
So I played with that in cura, but that added 4 more hours to the build
time. Watching paint dry is almost as exciting...

Good night all.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
