Chuckle, but I don't have a food dehydrator Gregg, I have an evacuation 
pump for cleaning out an air conditioner. It can pull better than 29" of 
mercury at sea level.

Water ablates rapidly when at room temp and an atmospheric pressure 
similar to 350 miles up from this rock.  Effectively freeze dried, 
without the freezer. You or I might live 20 seconds in extreme pain from 
boiling blood exposed to that without a spacesuit. This pump will dry 
filament in minutes.  Drier than it was when bagged and shipped I 
think. :)
