I just need a speed reference for the VFD that drives the spindle. I wrongly thought my VFD had pulse input, that's why I didn't purchase any card to interface with the VFD. So now I have to decide wheter I use analog speed reference, or the increase/decrease method with the VFD's digital inputs (which I don't really know exactly how it behaves or in which increments it works because the manual is pretty quirky). But I guess I'll give a try to that second option and see how it works, since it's only a little wiring and some hal logic.
