Any help or insight is appreciated The application is a converted knee mill ( kondia/Bridgeport) and I’m working on finishing the 4th and 5th axis design . I’m using ac servos that have step and direction capability as well as a encoder output . I’m currently rebuilding the machine with ballscrews and I’m hoping to finish the electronics control in parallel while I wait on small parts to arrive .
