I'm unfamiliar with G10 commands or how they would apply to this. I read over 
the documentation on them and don't quiet understand how they would work for 
this.

It might help to consider that the various touch-off commands in the  GUIs just 
run various versions of the G10 command behind the scenes.
So you could set up buttons to reset the axes or tool table.
