How many amps are we talking about?   Amtherm makes NTC thermistor to solve 
this issue and will do FREE consulting and give away free samples.   Ask them 
what you need and  also to send it to you free.    But there is a limit to what 
these can do. Certainly not kilowatts.  Give them the problem and say "what do 
I do?"  It works, They send me a lifetime supply of samples.
