This is all a bit awkward as it's now hard to get a MB wth a legacy PCI slot. (And this motherboard is only 10 years, old, to why it won't install bookworm is anyone's guess..... (The installer generally halts when it finds the USB ports, then will sit there until I unplug a USB device (such as a mouse) at which point it core-dumps. It's possible to boot it into the live system, though, in safe mode.
