Well, I though about the frequency counter approach because I have zero experience with resolver interfaces or the 7i87. Also, the encoder reading on mesa cards is super fast and reliable so I'm confident that it will work as I plan. But I'm always hearing recommendations of course. :) El lun, 10 nov 2025 a las 11:23, andy pugh (<[email protected]>) escribió: > On Mon, 10 Nov 2025 at 13:59, Leonardo Marsaglia <[email protected]> > wrote: > > > Yes, I'm going to sense several RVDT/LVDT sensors and I need lots of > > frequency counters. > > I would have thought that the resolver interface (7i49) was closer to > what you need for LVDT / RVDT sensing? > > (Or maybe use a perfect (op-amp) rectifier and an analogue-input card > like the 7i87.) > > -- > atp > "A motorcycle is a bicycle with a pandemonium attachment and is > designed for the especial use of mechanical geniuses, daredevils and > lunatics." > — George Fitch, Atlanta Constitution Newspaper, 1912 > > > _______________________________________________ > Emc-users mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users > _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
