Interestingly, for those living in Paris, October is a big social movement month, and while the strikes have intensified this year (they have been building up for a while), they are not as extraordinary as they seem to appear from the outside. What is interesting is that international media are suddenly giving them huge coverage -- so does this indicate that the proletarian movement will now spread throughout the world, especially the anglophone world in the West?
