Hi everyone,

for some time now, the Emscripten incoming branch has switched its focus on
the new Clang-based compiler backend. To make it easily accessible for
everyone to preview, there is a new Emscripten SDK version 1.13.0 now out,
which ships with the new Clang JS backend code. The quick need-to-know:

  - emsdk 1.13.0 is a preview release.
  - emsdk 1.13.0 comes with a prebuilt 64-bit Clang with the 'fastcomp'
backend.
  - the fastcomp-backend is based on Clang 3.3. Previous emsdk 1.12.0 was
with non-fastcomp-Clang 3.2.
  - Our custom Clang releases will match Emscripten releases, so
emsdk-1.13.0 comes with clang-e1.13.0, where the letter 'e' is used to make
sure we don't confuse with clang versions. New SDK updates will ship both
Emscripten and Clang from now on.
  - If you still want to use a new Emscripten tag with the old non-fastcomp
stock Clang 3.2, you can use that by explicitly 'emsdk install'ing
clang-3.2 and setting the environment variable EMCC_FAST_COMPILER=0

If you are already using emsdk, you can use the usual 'emsdk update' +
'emsdk install sdk-1.13.0-64bit' path to obtain the new tools, and then run
'emsdk activate xx' to switch between the different sdk versions. From now
on, future emsdk releases will be fastcomp-based, so please give this a try
and bring your bugs in early to us to guarantee a smooth transition!
