I mount my encfs filesystem with
  encfs --idle=5 ~/.crypt ~/crypt
(or "-i 5") but it doesn't get unmounted after it's been idle for longer
than 5 minutes. I've confirmed that there are no files open using lsof
and have tested this on 3 different machines, all running Fedora 11 x86_64.
(Two of these are desktops that are never suspended; one is a laptop, but
the idle time shouldn't involve any clock issues with suspending.) The
Fedora rpm is fuse-encfs-1.5-6.fc11.x86_64 and encfs reports its version
as 1.5. This definitely worked under Fedora 10.

I see a message from Alastair Sherringham on May 5 reporting the same
problem on Ubuntu 9.04, but no replies to that. I wondered whether other
people are seeing this and whether there's been any progress on fixing it.

Thanks,

  George
