I need this patch to finish my project of integrating folder encryption
into GNOME. However, it won't work on it's own. The patch causes the
mount to happen when the folder is accessed. However, as soon as you
create that on-demand mount, gvfs jumps in to setup trash, do autorun
stuff etc. which triggers it to finish mounting.

Without changing gvfs to account for this, it's probably not a good idea
to accept that patch as it will never function correctly on a system
using gvfs, which I believe is used not just on GNOME, but also (at a
minimum) Unity and Xfce.
