My thinking is that the next generation of ENCFS would be to break up
large files into smaller pieces  so you can't determine file types by
there size.

Also to encode directory structure differently so as to hide that information.

That is hide more of the meta-data of the encrypted files while still
storing information in a simple File-System structure.
