Patch Set 2: There is a business reason for this delete signature. I was involved in the discussion at the time. Initially, I didn't want to approve it for the same reasons you stated here, but I understood that there are cases where some bricks must be deleted together, in one action. So the decision was whether this will be a DELETE on the collection with a body, or an action.
