Hi Pln,

The birth anniversary of Gautama Buddha was celebrated throughout Asia
2 days back. Buddha is considered a God incarnate among Buddhists and
Hindus alike. It is known as Vesak or Buddha Purnima in India.

I don't know if Lao Tzu's works have been translated well and I don't
know Chinese, but the is the essence of his teaching not similar to
that of Buddha's ?

Could you explain why it is dangerous to touch his work?

According to the historical Buddha, Gautama Buddha, there were
innumberable Buddhas before him and infinite Buddhas to come in
future. Anyone who attains enlightenment, is a Buddha :
