Hi Anu and all, Why is it dangerous to touch his work?
I don't want to be too philosophical because I can't.LOL I suppose it depends on how one values one's life and how important it is for one to search for the meaning of LIFE. Everyone walks with a different rhythm of drums, and some choose to walk on the tracks less travelled. Those who decide to follow Lao Tzu are considered very spiritual and quite rare among others in the materialistic world... How to remain sane living in a world where fame, riches and power are the final goals for most people? How is it possible to stay compassionate as well as desireless? How to lead a meaningful or productive life while practicing the philosophy of WU-Wei? If one can't think it through or can't comprehend the essence of his work, there will be unnecessary conflicts which one has to put himself/ herself through. When I said it's dangerous for some to touch it,it's because many misinterpret him and use his teaching as self-serving excuses... I guess you must have seen lots and lots of hypocritical buddhists and taoists. They aren't only among ordinary people but also among monks and nuns...:( Good day to us all, Pln On May 12, 9:32 am, Anu <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi Pln, > > The birth anniversary of Gautama Buddha was celebrated throughout Asia > 2 days back.
