Hi Pablo and all,

Pln and I have been upgraded in the list of your friends as 'Dear
Teacher Pln' and 'Dear Claire' from now on,haven't we?LOL
You're getting sweeter and sweeter every day, aren't you?;)
I hope I won't be disppointed if you forget to address us the same way
again!LOL

Role-playing even works for people who conduct business or involve in
politics.
The think-tank provides them all the necessary data in order to help
them prepare well for any possible scenarios.

In this case of putting English in use,the teacher needs to be the
think-tank to provide the students all the skills and useful
expressions and make them try to use the patterns as much as possible
while role-playing.

Of course,as Pablo said, all these should be clearly written on the
board or well-prepared as cue cards...;)

If the teacher is well-experienced and the students highly-
motivated,role-playing can be quite animated!

Otherwise, this kind of exercise can be too fast and easily
forgotten...
I know some students are quite against role-playing because they say
it's too artificial to do it in the classroom. For instance, pretending
to be answering an urgent business phone call and to take a message
for their colleague or manager...

Good day!
Claire
