_1.- if you want to open always the *.php files in multihighlighter, then
activate its corresponding option in "settings" / "program settings" /
"multihighlighter"_
Can you please tell me which option to use? At the moment I only get
_autocomplete_ for HTML code. I cannot get PHP autocomplete without using
[Change Document Syntax highlight]. I am sorry if I confused you with this
"multi-highlighter" options.

_2.- multihighlighter works a special highlighter, activating it in
options does not mean that it will be used always (though you can
configure which files will open in multihighlighter directly there), you
need to select it from the highlighters list when changing highlighter in
the same way you pick php or html_
I dunno what you're talking about. Is the highlighter list = Setting |
Highlighter Settings? I get a list of entries like C++, PHP, HTML, etc.
All the entries are selected.

In short: Can PSPad handle, in one document, HTML, PHP, CSS, etc. without
using the [Change Document Syntax highlight] option:
