Wow, PSPad is great! I tried it some time ago, but couldn't use it until the wordwrap was finished. Now, it's perfect. Thanks, Jan! It took me a while to understand how to make spell-checking work. It's not really explained in the Help---so for the rest of you new PSPad users, here's what to do: 1. You must download the spelling dictionary separately (even the English one). Follow the link on the Download page. (If you can't find it, search the page for "dictionary".) 2. If you haven't installed PSPad, install it. 3. In the folder where you installed PSPad, create a new subfolder called "Spell" (without the quotes), then uncompress the dictionary file to that folder. 4. Run PSPad. On the Settings menu, click Spell Settings. The Spell Settings dialog box appears. 5. In the "Dictionary" drop-down list, select "English", then click OK. (It won't work until you do this!) Also note that when you use the spell-checker's "Add to Dictionary" command to add your own spelling words, they are not added to a file in PSPad's folder, but to a file here (note the obscure path): c:\documents and settings\[your user name]\SpellCheck The custom dictionary file is called "[language].user.dic" (e.g. "english.user.dic").
