Here's what was happening: I had the cursor to the left of a word that had
an apostrophe (') and I pressed Ctrl+T several times. When the cursor
reached the apostrophe, it stopped, and Ctrl+T had no effect. It did this
every time, for several days.
But I tried it again tonight, and it worked properly. (It's normal for
Ctrl+T to delete punctuation separately.)
This bug must happen only under certain circumstances---maybe with certain
text? Well, if I can recreate it, I'll post here again.
