Thanks Garvan, This is my first download of PSPad. Version 4.5.0 (2175). Downloaded 4 Feb 2006 Program Settings | Internet. Proxy Server is unchecked. Port 8080, Use my default email client. Program Settings | WebServer. Server: localhost. Document Root: C:\Program Files\BadBlue BadBlue is my webserver. It has no web access; I use it only for internal development. Win XP Pro is an old version (4 years ?), with SP1. Version 5.1 Build 2600 xpsp1 020828-1920 However, I can no longer replicate the problem. I had configured ZA to block the PSPad request to access the internet. When I reconfigured this back to "Ask", there seems to be no request ! Very strange. For now, I'm happy, but I'm not very happy when I don't know what's changed, Frustrating 3-[ Thanks for your interest.
