That's definitely wrong. You cannot patent game ideas in Europe.
Only things having a technical representation in 'real world' may be
patented.

If all goes wrong computer programs will be patentable in the future.
But even then you cannot patent something that is already in the
public domain like enigma. Too late to do that.
