Hi, >> 2. I found a string in German, but I can't work out what it means. The >> string is:"Ob Schachfiguren laserresistent sind?" > > I guess it can be translated into English something like this: "Are chessmen > afraid of laser?" or "Can laser do harm to chessmen?"
Yeah, it should probably be translated to English first. I don't know the context, and those two translations can be very appropriate, too. A literal translation would be: "I wonder if chess figures are resistant to laser?" or "Are chess figures immune to laser?" Obviously it is a hint on how to solve the level (or a false lead?). I havn't played Enigma in a while, so I'm not sure what laser does to chess figures. However it could well be possible to have to use a knight/jumper to block a lasers pathway you can't reach otherwise or something like that. Thanks for your help with Enigma translations! best regards, Erich Schubert -- erich@(mucl.de|debian.org) -- GPG Key ID: 4B3A135C (o_ To understand recursion you first need to understand recursion. //\ Wo befreundete Wege zusammenlaufen, da sieht die ganze Welt für V_/_ eine Stunde wie eine Heimat aus. --- Herrmann Hesse _______________________________________________ Enigma-devel mailing list Enigma-devel@nongnu.org http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/enigma-devel
