OK, so I sum up. Your co-worker used her key to sign messages using Enigmail until recently but can no longer, she receives "Key not found or not valid", and sending is aborted. You verified that the key is accessible from Enigmail key management and there seems to be no issue with the key. You know how to use GnuPG through command line. Have you aver tried to sign some file doing so just to verify that GnuPG without 3rd party components is able to sign with the key? If this works fine, were you asked for a passphrase or is the passphrase cached or is there no passphrase on the key? Might this be a passphrase issue on Mac OS X - Mac experts, please jump in here on how to debug this systematically. You may go to Enigmail preferences, switch to advanced mode. (You might to close and reopen that dialog to make sure you cann access all tabs IIRC.) In advanced preferences, there is a "debugging" tab. Enable debugging and enter a path to a directory of your choice (create one). Restart Thunderbird. Try to send a signed mail. Close Thunderbird. Make a copy of the debug directory.
