It would seem to me that there could be a set of rules made from the options in Thunderbird's menu items at Tools | Account Settings | OpenPGP Security, which might very well be different from a set of rules made from the options in TB's menu items at Tools | Account Settings | Manage Identities | identity | OpenPGP Security. So which set takes priority generally when they are in conflict? For example, in the first set I could have a setting that says "use this specific OpenPGP key ID (ox1234ABCD), while at the same time I could have a rule in the Identity Settings dialogue window that says "Use email address of this identity to identify OpenPGP key". How would such a case be resolved procedurally? Or might there even be a third factor affecting the outcome to take into consideration?
